Reflect damage & chance
[Terms]
- Reflect stat refers to the stat used for reflect calculations.
- Reflect chance refers to the percentage chance you have to successfully activate reflect damage.
- Reflect damage refers to the amount of damage a successful reflect deals.
[Reflect stat]
- Your reflect stat will either be soft def or flee, depending on which stat is higher for you.
- If the stats are equal, both count as your reflect stat.
[Reflect chance]
- Reflect chance is only rolled against physical melee attacks.
- Ranged, magical, and misc attacks cannot activate reflect damage by default.
- When soft def is your reflect stat, reflect chance is rolled when you're hit by an attack.
- When flee is your reflect stat, reflect chance is rolled when you successfully dodge an attack via flee.
- You have a 0% reflect chance by default.
- Chance is gained through skills, items, and other bonuses.
[Reflect damage]
- Your base reflect damage is equal to your reflect stat's value.
- Reflect damage is passive fixed damage, though some unique bonuses can reduce or prevent it.
- The amount of damage an incoming attack would deal to you acts as a cap to your reflect damage.
- This cap is based on the attack's raw power, and does not take your defenses or reductions into account.
