Super Armor
Super Armor is a status effect that prevents a unit's skill casts from being interrupted while it's active. It applies to both casts and charges.
When a cast has Super Armor, the unit flashes white.
[Basics]
- Super armor comes as an inherent effect on some skills, or as a bonus from various sources like gear or boons.
- Activates on skill cast, and protects the cast from being interrupted for as long as super armor is active.
- It ends when the skill finishes casting or super armor is broken.
[HP & Breaks]
- Super armor effects have an HP value.
- Super armor will break when its HP threshold is met. When it breaks, the current skill cast is interrupted.
- Super Armor's HP is expressed as a percentage of max HP. Each skill or modifier tends to have its own HP value.
- For example, if a bonus says
Storm Gust gains +20% Super Armor, your super armor's HP is equal to 20% of your Max HP.
- For example, if a bonus says
- If a skill has
Full Super Armor, that means the super armor's HP value is equal to your HP value.- Some effects can still break Super Armor in this scenario (e.g. Provoke, Spell Breaker, some status effects), but it won't break from receiving direct damage.
[Cooldown]
- When super armor breaks, it enters a cooldown period. No casts will gain super armor during this period.
- The base cooldown timer is 10 seconds, reducible by VIT.
- Every 1 VIT reduces your Super Armor cooldown timer by 1%.
- At 100 VIT your super armor can still be broken, but it resets instantly.
[Other details]
- At 100 VIT your super armor can still be broken, but it resets instantly.
- Super Armor reduces your hit lag to 0, similar to Endure.
- If you are currently mid-cast and super armor regenerates, the cast gains super armor.
- Monster skills can have super armor arbitrarily.
- Monsters of class Elite, Miniboss, FoE, and MVP have a base cooldown timer of 3 seconds.
- Stun does not break Super Armor, however you cannot cast while stunned, even with Super Armor.
[Visuals] - Units casting with super armor flash white.
- When super armor is broken, the unit flashes red.
- When super armor regenerates, the unit briefly flashes white once.
- You can enable a larger super armor effect on monsters under
@config's 'Skills' submenu. - If you hover over a unit casting with Super Armor, it'll show
SA (x%).This tells you how much HP the cast's super armor has remaining, as a percentage.
