Autospells

An Autospell (AS) is a skill that is cast automatically by a trigger event. Most Autospells appear as skills under your JOB tab.

All Autospells have the following properties:

  • SP cost -50%
  • Damage -50%

The remaining behavior of an Autospell depends on its Autospell Mode and Trigger Type.

-- Autospell Modes --
AS Mode determines how the Autospell is cast and what delays it uses.

[Standard Autospell (AS)]

  • If an Autospell does not specify a mode, it is a Standard Autospell.
  • Casts after the triggering action's attack motion finishes.
  • The triggered skill plays its own attack motion delay.
  • Trigger Event Cap: 1

[Instant Autospell (IAS)]

  • Casts immediately, ignoring the attack motion of the triggering action.
  • The triggered skill has no motion delay.
  • Trigger Event Cap: 3

[Proxy Cast (PC)]

  • Casts from a remote source, such as another skill or a summon.
  • Uses Instant Autospell timing when the source is a skill.
  • Uses Standard Autospell timing when the source is a summon.
  • Does not count against the Trigger Event Cap.

-- Trigger Types --
Trigger Type determines the condition required for an Autospell to cast.

[Trigger Rate (TR)]

  • Casts based on a percentage chance.
  • Often has an associated cooldown.
  • Ex: Cold Bolt autospells Fire Bolt Lv3 +35% (CD: 3s).

[Trigger Count (TC)]

  • Casts when its Trigger Count reaches 0.
  • Trigger Count is reduced by fulfilling the trigger condition.
  • You can track the current TC value by hotkeying the Autospell.
  • Ex: Cold Bolt autospells Fire Bolt Lv3 +35% (TC: 3).

-- Stacking --

  • Autospells with different Trigger Types are treated as separate bonuses. They do not stack additively with each other.
  • Within the same Trigger Type, Autospells stack only if they are the same skill and level. Otherwise, they are treated as separate bonuses.

[Stacking TR Autospells]

  • Trigger Rate bonuses stack multiplicately.
  • Example:
    • Fire Bolt Lv3 +35%
    • Fire Bolt Lv3 +35%
    • Fire Bolt Lv5 +15%
  • Final result:
  • Fire Bolt Lv3 +47%, Fire Bolt Lv5 +15%

[Stacking TC Autospells]

  • Trigger Count bonuses stack by reducing the required TC value by 20% for each additional matching Autospell.
  • Example:
    • Fire Bolt Lv3 TC 15
    • Fire Bolt Lv3 TC 15
    • Fire Bolt Lv5 TC 20
  • Final result:
    • Fire Bolt Lv3 TC 12, Fire Bolt Lv5 TC 20

-- Advanced --

[Trigger Event Cap (TEC)]

  • The Trigger Event Cap (TEC) determines how many Autospells can trigger from the same event.
  • Default TEC values:
    • Standard Autospells: 1
    • Instant Autospells: 3
    • Proxy Casts: Ignore TEC

[Trigger Order]
If more Autospells trigger than your TEC allows, the following rules apply:

  1. Trigger Count (TC) Autospells are chosen before Trigger Rate (TR) Autospells.
  2. When multiple Autospells of the same Trigger Type are triggered at the same time:
  • For TC Autospells, the one with the higher TC requirement is chosen.
    - For TR Autospells, the one with the lower TR value is chosen.

[Recursion Depth]

  • Recursion Depth determines how many times Autospells can chain into other Autospells.
  • Recursion Depth is 2 by default.
    • This means your first Autospell trigger, depth 1, can trigger one additional Autospell, depth 2. After that, no more Autospells can trigger from that chain.
